Clash of Clans: Painting the Game
Through many years of collaboration, we've established a special bond with Supercell and their most successful game, Clash Of Clans. We're their go-to for creating top-notch illustrations for the Clash of Clans social channels. We think we're the perfect match — here's why.
We've created a wide variety of unique Clash of Clans illustrations. First, we develop concepts with the Supercell creative team. Next, we visualise a number of options, defining the story, highlighting characters, and incorporating in-game aspects and events. Together, we select our favourite route and finally, we bring it to life for fans all over the world.
Key Art: Clan Capital
In 2022, the introduction of Clan Capital launched the biggest-ever update for Clash of Clans. Supercell asked us to create the key art to represent this new game environment. The brief: a high-quality, action-packed, dynamic illustration, filled with troops demonstrating the new way to battle.
We decided that an aerial view would deliver on the drama and emphasise the floating islands of the Clan Capital. To achieve the dynamic perspective we wanted, we created the background scene in 3D and then painted over it in post-production before the 2D characters were overimposed.
Integrating all these elements is a challenge, but we rose to it. Supercell were extremely happy with the outcome and the community called it "epic".

Clan Games Series
As part of our ongoing relationship, Supercell tasked us to create a set of monthly illustrations to advertise their Clan Games events.
Clan Games is a game mode that challenges players to complete in-game tasks with the characters, Strongman, and Pony. They occur whenever the Strongman's Caravan is set up at the side of your village.
In this series of illustrations Strongman and his loyal friend, Pony, are our main characters. Every image tells a different story and depicts new game mechanics, skins, and environments.
The one below was for Halloween, and it's one of our favourites. We drew inspiration from childhood favourites and recreated the cartoon signature pose with the pair of protagonists. The resulting image is a lot of fun, and the client particularly appreciated the humour of it.
Before creating an image, we always present sketched options to the client. We proceed with phases of polishing until we get to the final fully rendered image.

Clan Capital Raid Series
We were tasked to create a series of 'Raid Weekend' illustrations that take place in the Clan Capital setting.
Raid Weekends are the main way to battle in Clan Capital where up to 50 Clan members can participate together!
We've produced a variety of action-packed illustrations, often with humorous elements, allowing the character's personalities to shine.
This series was great fun to make, as we were able to fully unleash our creativity and craft. Thank you, Supercell!
