We're In Campaign's Best Places To Work 2022!
For the second year consecutively, we've been featured in Campaign’s Best Places to Work, the list of the best places to work in UK media, marketing and advertising! Feels GOOD.
Even after the craziness of 2021, 2022 still posed its own challenges when it comes to maintaining workplace motivation, and keeping people happy. As the pandemic continued, hybrid working did as well, and continued to challenge us to meet the evolving wellbeing needs of our Wasters. This year's Campaign’s Best Places to Work survey aims to reveal the companies that best navigated the change. Turns out, we made the cut - again.
“Campaign’s Best Places to Work represents the most outstanding workplaces in media, marketing and advertising, so it means a lot to see Waste featured for a second time. It comes in as another meaningful recognition of the laser-sharp focus we've had on employee wellbeing over the last few years, and not being afraid to try new ways of enhancing our people's wellbeing. Really, we're just getting started." - Mike Petricevic, our Creative Partner
In the last two years, we've also been awarded a One Star accreditation from Best Companies, as well as being featured in their other lists: Marketing and Media’s 40 Best Agencies to Work For, the UK’s 100 Best Small Companies to Work For, and the Top 30 Best Small Companies to Work For in London.
Since 2020, we introduced a number of new talent initiatives to help our people feel happy and connected during the Covid-19 pandemic, including offering access to mental health support services, virtual get-togethers and early finish Fridays. We have also matched our staff donations to Black Lives Matter causes and created a diversity panel to support our commitment to creating a diverse and inclusive environment.
In the last week, we've also unveiled our new Work-From-Anywhere policy! What does it mean? Simple: Wasters will now be able to work from anywhere in the world for up to a month each year. We're doing this because we recognise that the pandemic changed things, and we want to move with the times - so, as an agency which always looks to challenge norms, we have decided to reinvent our benefits and working practices. A few Wasters have already taken advantage of the new policy, working from locations including Greece, Italy, Spain, and Japan.
